Hot Topic

What can be more exciting than a father going shopping with his teen-aged daughter. Yes, it was almost as exciting as taking her out for a practice drive on Highway 76. You see your life pass before your eyes. It is a near death experience.

We headed down to Branson Landing to shop at Hot Topic. It caters to teen-agers. To enter you must know how to spell "Gangsta" and know what it means.

To set the tone, all the ladies at the cash register have red streaks in their hair. If that makes you feel uncomfortable then you are in the wrong shop.

The apparel has so many skulls on it that you would think you were buying Harley-Davidson clothing. However, when you are Harley-Dad (as I am) it is somewhat difficult to complain about skulls and the "bad boy"-"bad girl" look until you take off your helmet with skulls, and your studded belt and your rough motorcycle boots (to Harley's shame the boots in Hot Topic looked rougher). Well more later.
