Branson Airshow

I wish I had taken this.

The Branson Airshow will be held at the new Branson
Airport on May 8-10, 2009. How exciting can it get.

To learn more about the Branson Air Show go to
www.BransonAirShow.com.

The U.S.A.F. Thunderbrids will be there. See the picture
above. I did not take it but wish that I had.

To learn more about the new Branson Airport,
go to www.flybranson.com.

Below I show pictures on how to get to the airport; however
the Branshow blog above also has maps.

See you there!

The New Branson Airport

To go to the Branson Airshow, you need to go to the new Branson Airport. You can only reach this airport by going through Branson Creek.

The new airport is a private airport, built privately and it is on private property. Mr. Patch's property.

The airport was developed by Glenn E. Patch and his enterprises. Mr. Patch and his companies also developed the Branson Creek Communities.

In short it is his airport and he can do with it as he pleases. He pleases to have the entry to the airport only assessible by going through Branson Creek. It is projected to bring in about 700000 people per year.

To exit the airport by car or go to the airport, it is necessary to go through Branson Creek and you can not help but see the lovely golf courses, condos and homes in the area.

Pretty smart I say.

To help you I have photographed my drive out to the Branson Airport or at least as far as I can go.

Thanks to Mr. Patch and his associates for bringing such value to the Branson area.

This picture and the next five were taken from Old
Springfield Road (JJ Highway). Currently there is no
entrance to the Airport from JJ. The only entrance is
through the Branson Creek Properties.

Go to 50's at the Hop

This review covers the 50's at the Hop show at Branson Meadows. It is highly recommended that you attend.

Having lived through this era and danced at real sock hops and watched Elvis on the Ed Sullivan show, I can with experience recommend this show for a fun afternoon or evening in Branson.

The band is excellent. The Hoppettes are beautiful and talented. The songs are wonderful and it is a time of good humored fun.

Go to their blog for times and location by clicking on this link: http://www.branson50s.com/

I want to thank the Show for allowing me to take pictures and I show some of these below.

Go to this show you will love it.
