Let's go to Cold Stone Creamery. I bet even Stone Cold Steve Austin would like it here! Posted by Hello

Pick your yummy, yummy ice cream. Need a topping? I don't -the ice cream is that good! Posted by Hello

A waffle cone or hold your ice cream. How about a chocholate waffle cone. Sugar overdose. Diet disaster. Love it. Posted by Hello

How about adding a little something to your ice cream. Posted by Hello

They mash in your topping into the icecream Posted by Hello

Would you eat this. I sure would! Posted by Hello

Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery
1615 W. Hwy 76, Suite K
Branson, Mo.

The Cold Stone Creamery is located just on the other side of Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede (with the big electronic video sign) and next to Fuddruckers.

Is it the best ice cream place in Branson? Well our family thinks so but then Branson has quite a few ice cream places, so we have cartons of ice cream to sample before we sleep. At any rate, it is the best we have found so far.

You pick out what you want in the ice cream and they mash it into it on a marble slab. Last night we had cookie dough with rasberries mashed in. Scrumptious!

Yummy, yes. Crowded yes. What can I say-I have not met anyone who does not like it. I wish I owned this franchise, people are beating down the door to get their ice cream and it is still February. What will it be like in August? Well, I don't know. But I bet we will find out.

This place is a family favorite.

Update on Branson Landing

HarleyDad took some pictures yesterday showing how construction is coming on Branson Landing.

Construction is coming along fine. Evidently some pilings have been driven for some of the concrete work and the pilings go down about 35 feet.

Above are a few pictures just to keep you updated. From time to time I will take more pictures so that you can see how construction is coming along.

76 Grand Country Buffet

76 Grand Country Buffet
76 Music Hall
1945 W. 76 Country Blvd.

This buffet is a great place for breakfast and is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

It is on the main strip and the buildings are all bright yellow. From the main building you can see a large fiddle that begins inside the building and extends outside the building. See pictures above.

The staff is friendly. The food is good. You go through the buffet which is extensive. The price is reasonable. The breakfast is very good. Be prepared to eat a lot.

If you have kids go sit near the picture of the elderly man and woman. From time to time the picture talks of you.

This place has a good spirit and good food.

Enjoy.
