New Shanghai Circus

If you like acrobatics, you need to see this show. The price of an adult ticket is about $29 but call for reservations and rates.

HarleyDad was in Shanghai a year or so again and saw the acrobatic troup there. All I can say is that the Branson Group is better than the Group in Shanghai. I presume they send the better acrobats here for training.

The juggling is wonderful, the magic very entertaining and the sets are beautiful.

If you want to see the best acrobats in the world, I think that this is where you need to come. The show was outstanding.

The New Shanghai Circus is at their own building. The only problem is exiting the parking lot where not enough lanes were included. A few pictures of the acrobats are shown above.

Our adventure to the Lake begins by taking a "road less travelled" as Dr. M. Scott Peck would say. Posted by Picasa

A picturesque cabin once reputedly used by the Chicago mafia. Brokerbelle says that there is no need to stop to inspect this piece of local history and yore. And so we pass on. Posted by Picasa

More classic vehicles found everywhere. It is a veritable museum of the history of the American automobile. Posted by Picasa

Old lovely classic vehicles adorned the scenic landscape. Posted by Picasa

Could this result in a diminution of our potential property value? Posted by Picasa

The Adventures of Lake Front Property

Well, Brokerbelle and I were interested in property on the Taneycomo Lake Front. Our Broker Dede has some property to show us. It is really a lovely piece of property and consists of about 30 acres.

And so we turn off the road and began to proceed toward the property. Unfortunately, Dede tells us, there is only one way to get there. Pictures above show some of the scenic area we go through.

Dede tells us that many, many years ago, the Chicago mafia used to own some of the cabins we pass and would have parties there.

Down we go through the scenic country side. Finally we do come to the property and there is some nice water access.

The Guy living next door at the bottom is an Indian, a really nice guy, according to Dede and the selling property owner. We turn around on his property and I take a few shots. And then it is time to drive up the mountain again.

Above are the pictures from a trip down and up the mountain. I think I now know what living in the Ozarks can entail.

Suffice it to say, Brokerbelle and I will not be purchasing this property. I was a triffle too scenic for us. Besides, I am not sure I want my scalp on someone's wigwam. Although, believe me, that is not what caused us not to be interested in the properties.

Take a look. I did not photograph the worse part of the route.
