Dogwood Canyon

Dogwood Canyon

Just outside Branson is Dogwood Canyon. Dogwood Canyon is a nature preserve and is brought to you by the same wonderful people that bring to the area Big Cedar and Bass Pro Shops.

The Canyon is wonderful. You can take a tram ride pulled by a truck and go through the preserve and even see the bison and elk in the "high country." A better way if you can do it is to pay less and walk through the area below or rent or bring a bicycle. The cost of a walking-hiking ticket is $8.95.

On Sunday I motorcyled down to Dogwood Canyon and took some pictures. Some of those pictures are pictured on my other blog Hacienda del HarleyDad which can be found at http://www.harleydad1.blogspot.com/

However there are plenty are pictures so I have posted some more above.

If you have an opportunity and want to see Nature in a slightly manicured but beautiful fashion, a visit to Dogwood Canyon should be at the top of the list. I was there in the Spring, have been now in the fall, and hope to go and freeze myself for more pictures when snow is on the ground.
