Christmas Eve at Clockers

The day before Christmas we went to Clockers.

As usual the breakfast was great. We were greeted by Karen, the Supervisor. She is the one in the picture above wearing a silly hat.

HarleyDad doffs his hat to those people that wear silly hats. They are the caretakers, the angels who bring joy to the rest of us. These courageous people hold themselves out to be laughed at because they are confident people willing to chance ridicule for the opportunity to bring joy and light to those people around them.

Someday when we are in heaven, I think we may hear something like this: "Did you not notice my servant Karen. I put her in your life for a few minutes to bring a smile to your face. And even though you were thinking about breakfast, the events of the day, and your paper, did not you finally smile."

Thank you Karen and Merry Christmas!!!

HarleyDad
