Water Damage

Lake Taneycomo evidently overflowed and damaged some homes down from Branson Landing. You go down by Scottie's Boat Dock and then go to the homes on the west after you go under Highway 65 and you will see some of the damage. I have posted some pictures above. You will see some of the damage and repairs going on.

Pray for these good people. They have had a hard time of it. Some of the homes in the area were built on stilts just in case.

The Farm House Restaurant

Some time ago I blogged about the poor service that we had received from "Red Hat" at The Farm House Restaurant. Recently our blog was contacted suggesting that we give The Farm House Restaurant in downtown Branson another try and that "Red Hat" was no longer there.

And they were right. The Farm House Restaurant was bustling with business and "Red Hat" was no longer there.

Brokerbelle and I both had breakfast and it was great. The eggs were delicious. The sausage and ham were super.

The staff was very nice and they moved quickly to fill orders and to serve the food.

In particular, we were very pleased by one of the people on the cash register who was a cancer survivor. What an upbeat spirit and so friendly.

In short, we would heartily recommend The Farm House in Down Town Branson. It is on the same side of the street as Dick's 5 and 10 .

Above are some pictures of The Farm House Restaurant. Go there for a good, hearty breakfast!

Surf's Up

We were in Branson last weekend. The water was up. It was very near our Condo.

Lake Taney Como had flooded at some parts damaging homes on the north side of Taneycomo in Branson.

We also drove out to Forsyth and have some startling pictures showing how high the water was.

Above are some of the pictures.
