Surfs Up

You have seen on this blog the silver golfer (a.k.a. as the "Silver Golfer") adorning the entrance of Branson Creek. Although jokingly referred to as Branson's largest hood ornament, this paragon of chrome, projects the area's image of quality and is Branson's answer to the hood ornament of Rolls Royce.

However, even hood ornaments need the time off. It is hard holding that pose each day. The Silver Golfer is taking a short summer vacation and will accompany the blogger to Hawaii. The Silver Golfer is already packed (what's to wear to Hawaii anyway) and has been seen taking surfing lessons.

Pictures of the Silver Golfer surfing are set forth above. Branson and Branson Creek should not get overly concerned. The Silver Golfer got one of the people that walk around in the Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam outfits during tax time to stand in for him while he takes his two week vacation.

The Silver Surfer is heading for Hawaii for some fun and sun and may even act in a Hollywood movie there. Not to fear however, the Silver Surfer will return to his day job as Silver Golfer by July 1.

HarleyDad caught the Silver Golfer when surf was up and the Silver Golfer looks pretty good!
