Branson's Largest Hood Ornament

My daughter, the ImpQueen, is designing her own guide to Branson. Despite her proper upbringing from her cultured parents, she has evolved into somewhat of an irreverent sprite.

This summer, the ImpQueen is giving some friends a tour of the Branson area. To start she is taking them to what she calls “The Largest Hood Ornament in Branson.”

Now, I must admit that there are some similarities between this object de art which can be found as a new addition at the entrance of Branson Creek.

Now we at Branson are as cultured as people elsewhere. In fact we have our own Louvre which is also known as the Ralph Foster Museum at the College of the Ozarks. I love this museum. Where else can you find the guns of Bill Hickock or one of Jesse James pistols dropped in a bank robbery.

And speaking of hood ornaments one of the most famous vehicles of the Ozarks is located in this wonderful museum which can be found at
www.rfostermuseum.com.

Ah, but back to hood ornaments. It is true that we in Branson have one of the best golf courses in the State of Missouri. It is not Pebble Beach or perhaps as good as some of the best on Hawaii; however for us it is the Rolls Royce of Golf Courses. You can visit it at Branson Creek (
www.bransoncreek.com). And like all Rolls Royces, it needs a proper hood ornament.

So if you want a little Ozarks culture and love to golf, you can head for Branson Creek and while you are here, you can stop at the Ralph Foster Museum and see it relatives, the Clampets.

So our Silver Golfer at Branson Creek is not the Venus de Milo or the Michelangelo, but I can tell you it is Branson and worthy of any modern Condo development . It is Branson and we are proud.
