Hi. Found your blog via Google, and was wondering if you might have suggestions for kids in Branson during the winter.
My son's 5th birthday is at the end of January, and we were thinking of going to down to Branson (from StL) to celebrate.
But it seems as if the town is sort of shut down Jan-Feb. Is this true? Is there anything for kids/family to do at the end of January?
I like Branson better in the winter. Many of the miniature golf courses are open including at least two indoor courses. You can go to the IMAX. They have a toy museum, WWII museum, Roy Rogers Museum. Most of the magic shows are closed. Winter at Branson is great; but you have to be more flexible. Silver Dollar City and White Water and Celebration City are closed. Branson Landing is open.
