Scripture says that God knows the number of hairs on our head. He knows even when the sparrow falls. In other words, God is concerned even about small things. I find this is of much comfort and illustrates the love of God.There is an old song entitled: "His Eye is Upon the Sparrow." The song lyrics say: "His Eye is Upon the Sparrow, so I know He is watching me."
The picture to the left is of a small bird. He did not know that I was watching or photographing him; while God was watching both of us.
