On the same side of the street and up the hill is Dick's 5 & 10. Do you remember the old 5 and 10 Cent stores. That is back when five or ten cents bought you what a dollar buys you today.
This five and dime has almost everything in the world in it. You name it they have it. Take your kids to Dick's and see an institution that you can not find any other place in the world today. It is a store from a different generation. Your kids will love it.
While you are there you can see one of the world's great collection of aircraft prints and models hanging from the ceiling. Many of these items are very valuable, and many people fail to see them just because they do not look up. Don't bother asking to buy one, they are not for sale--but everything else in the store is.
